Intersetingly, customers of Nitrogen Sports will play on their own ring-fenced network and complete against other players playing on the site.
Cubeia launched their social poker network last year in April 2013. Subsequently, they partnered with India-based Mirch Entertainment to launch a real money poker network for the Indian market in October 2013.
An HTML 5 application will provide access to players that want to play online poker. No limit, pot limit and fixed limit Texas Hold’em will be available options to begin with. Cash games, sit and go’s and multi-table tournaments will also be offered. Rebuy tournaments can be accommodated by this software as well.
Nitrogen Sports confirmed the following via press release.
“It’s clear to us that online gambling would hugely benefit from embracing bitcoin, the biggest benefits being instant transactions, low transaction costs, anonymity, and security. Additionally, we have an incredible support staff and will be enforcing a strict anti-collusion policy. We’re already the most trusted bitcoin sportsbook, and we will be maintaining our reputation as a safe and secure place to bet.”
Nitrogen has now joined the slowly growing list of Bitcoin-only poker rooms including that is currently headed by Seals with Clubs and Betcoin Poker. In fact, they recently joined hands with Winning Poker Network (WPN) to imerge its customer base into the WPN’s SnG’s and MTT’s. New trends suggest, that regular online poker rooms have also started accepting Bitcoins as mode of deposit.
